Step 1: Ferment After you’ve completed Part 1 by sealing the fermenter, store the beer at room temperature in an undisturbed area. Fermentation for this brew will take two to three weeks, depending on the strain of yeast you use, and even the weather. Step 2: Watch As the yeast nibbles away at the malt, the beer will swirl and bubble, especially over the first few days. When you notice less than one bubble per minute, (usually after about two weeks), check the beer. If it’s still hazy, then the yeast needs more time to settle …

do NOT use bleach
When I turn 21 next year, I’m gonna brew some nice beer!
Is there besides a hobby, better economical efficiency?
Hmm Question: How long can you keep the beer in the bottle once its been capped?
great vid, making my 1st batch today
it’ll taste terrible and you” probably feel sick lol
types of grains you use, hops you use, spices, fermentable sugars, water, yeast and even the temperature you ferment your beer all affect the outcome.
i love brewing beer. I’m still pretty new at it. I’ve only done like 7-8 batches of beer. But i don’t do it for the drink itself, i actually don’t drink alcohol. i just plain enjoy the whole process of making beer. lol my friends love me for it.
haha yupp!
drank a whole 30 pack of coors and didnt get a buzz, thats shit to watered down! haha
So what gives you all the different flavours? The type and amount of hops?
What else can you do to customize your beer?
the yeast sediment gives you a Vitamin boost, less hangover:)
I’ve made good ale comparable to $8.99 a six pack brews for less than $4 a six pack before myself. You can tweak this a little and make some fairly drinkable hooch for even less.
why is he an accomplice?
Well to be honest, it’s not that much work. Once you have the equipment in the first place you won’t have to buy it ever again, meaning that in a couple of batches it would have paid for itself.
Once you have put the effort into making the wort you don’t have to wait for it to ferment, bottle and then wait for it to finish fermenting.
Brewing beer is a hobby and people do it for the enjoyment creating something themselves that just so happens to work out being cheaper than going to the shops.
what happens if u drink from the yeast and settle ment on the bottle bottle???
wow if your spending 30-40 bucks on beer kits your doing it wrong .. the cheapest and still good beers run 15-21 dollars us and make 5+ gallons … that about 50 beers even if you spill some. now you can get beer kits up to 50 dollars us and still only get about 50 beers from it. but really 30-40 bucks i don’t think so
So its pretty damn worth the investement….
plus its pretty fun….. except the bottling process.
once you get good batch of homemade beer, you’ll never wanna go back to store bought piss water like budweiser. LMAO
for a good kit with 1 glass carboy should run you about 150 including shipping….
you’ll need that big stainless steel pot, plus some other little things….
Id say about more or less $200 if you do the right shopping..
Ingredients for the beer run about $28-42
I did the math…. 5 gallons of home brew will run you about 30-40 bucks depending on what beer your making…
5 gallons is roughly 3 18pks of beer. 3 18pks of bud light costs about $40 on sale. same as the ingredients youll buy.
The money it costs to start up is going to be a bit. But it pays for itself in the end. You spend less making it yourself than you would driving to the liquor store over and over buying beer over and over.
ya but all us poor ppl that still wanna drink beer….. this was our last hope
Love to try it but that would cost me an absolute f*cking fortune. Capper? Hydrometer? Spring-loaded bottle filler? What the f*ck man…
so this would take about a month to make or even longer depending on what your doing
You’re missing the point.
This is a hobby. You make the beer for the enjoyment of drinking something you made yourself.
And Coors is sh*t beer. Absolute garbage. Any fool could make better beer than Coors.
fuckin a. it would be fun to make tho
Unless you know some people…
lol
